Richie Greenberg

Richie Greenberg is an American businessman, political activist and strategist, working with politicians, business leaders and citizens of San Francisco, on quality of life issues, and to address the well-being of the neighborhoods. Richie entered politics in 2016 when he ran for public office in San Francisco.

Born in Queens, New York, and raised on Long Island, Richie has been living in San Francisco since 2001.

Richie places a great value on personal honesty, integrity, accountability. He is passionate about the plight of the elderly and senior population, which is comprised largely of Russian immigrants, many of whom have limited mobility. He also is concerned with the efficiency of local public transportation, small business sustainability, age discrimination in the workforce, personal safety and protection of private property.

In his community-focused activities, Richie is an active participant in the vibrant Jewish community of San Francisco. He is staunchly pro-Israel, supporting the fight against campus hate groups, the fight against antisemitism and against the BDS movement (boycott of Israel and Israeli products). Moreover, Richie actively seeks out and exposes discrimination, bias and bigotry by civic leaders, educators and elected officials and holds them accountable.

Richie Greenberg makes personal appearances, participates in community forums and town halls, and authors articles and Op-Ed pieces which have been published in local media. Here is a selection:
